New Deadline for Open Call is April 6

Open call for female identifying and non-binary artists who are mothers in the Kentuckiana region. There is no expectation for type or style of work. Submissions need not speak to the topic of motherhood. The common thread is creating art while navigating motherhood. As mothers and artists we understand the delicate balance of caring for our family while also nurturing ourselves through the artistic process. What we create is often a reflection of both rolls and just as often an escape from.

This show is part of the Taking. Up. Space. initiative. Nearly 100 woman across the globe are organizing art exhibitions in the month of May with the support of the Artist/Mother Podcast and Thrive Artist Network. These platforms are offering guidance to those participating on how to put together a show and promote it. This is the first year of the initiative.
